Their Manufacturing Readiness Level (MRL) capabilities allow Groupe Stratys to offer DND-compliant production at scale. As the consortium accelerator, Triode bridges the gap between concept and deployment — managing prototype development, technology transfer processes, and programme governance. Their experience with defence innovation programs (including IDEaS and SBIR-equivalent structures) enables the consortium to participate in innovation-focused procurement vehicles. Triode also manages IP strategy, ensuring that technologies developed under Crown contracts are properly protected and positioned for commercialization and export.
Groupe Stratys operates under a formal consortium agreement that establishes clear governance structures for IP ownership, export control compliance (ITAR/EAR where applicable), revenue sharing, and subcontract management. Each partner retains ownership of its background IP while jointly developed foreground IP is governed by the consortium agreement. For Crown contracts, the consortium has designated Groupe Stratys Inc. as the prime contractor entity, with each partner holding defined subcontractor roles. This structure is fully compliant with PSPC procurement guidelines and DND contracting policies, including those governing ITB/IRB obligations.
Yes — each consortium partner maintains full legal and commercial independence and can pursue contracts individually in their respective domains.
